Manage Proxy - FatProxy

Overview

The Manage Proxy page allows you to view, edit, archive, and delete previously created proxy ports. This section provides full control over your active and archived proxies, ensuring easy management and configuration.


Proxy Management Tabs

The page consists of two tabs:

  • Active Proxies – Displays all currently active proxies available for use.
  • Archived Proxies – Contains proxies that have been archived and are no longer in use but can be reactivated if needed.

Proxy Overview

Each proxy in the list displays the following key details:

  • Name – Custom name of the proxy for easy identification.
  • Country – The geographical location of the proxy exit node.
  • Proxy Type – The type of proxy (e.g., Residential, Datacenter, Mobile).
  • Settings – Displays the current configuration options applied to the proxy.
  • Description – Additional notes or custom details assigned to the proxy.
  • Details – A button to expand the proxy for more in-depth connection information.

Detailed Proxy Information

When clicking the Details button on any proxy, the following technical details become visible:

  • Login – The unique login for your proxy. Never disclose your login credentials to anyone!
  • Password – The password used for authentication. The password is the same for all proxies in your account and can only be changed in your Profile.
  • Gateway Host/IP – The hostname or IP address to connect to the proxy gateway.
  • Port – The port number required for connection.
  • Proxy Link – A formatted URL containing all necessary details for using the proxy. The format can be changed by editing the proxy settings.
  • Change IP Link – A direct URL that allows changing the exit IP by making a GET request.
  • Proxy Link Format – The format of the proxy connection string, which can be adjusted at any time to match your needs. Security and Control

  • You can edit your proxy settings at any time by clicking the "Edit" button.
  • If needed, you can delete any proxy, but be cautiousβ€”this action is irreversible.
  • Never share your login or password, as doing so can compromise your account balance and security.
  • Your proxy password is universal for all proxies in your account and can only be updated through your Profile Settings.
